ACCESSIBILITY

Ricketts Great Books College is committed to making its website and learning platforms accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. The College aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and works to provide text alternatives for non-text content and to support keyboard and screen-reader use.

Platform accessibility

The College’s core platforms include accessibility features: Canvas provides features aligned with WCAG 2.1; Zoom offers closed captioning and live transcripts; VitalSource supports text-to-speech and adjustable fonts.

Requesting accommodations

A student who needs a disability-related accommodation may request one through the College, which works with the student on an individualized plan consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504. Reasonable accommodations may include assistive technology, alternative formats, or alternative means of participation.
