David Wallace is the Judith Rodin Professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in medieval literature and nationalism studies. He is a Fellow of the English Association and received the Sir Israel Gollancz Prize. His notable book is "Europe: A Literary History, 1348-1418."
