Quentin Skinner is Emeritus Professor at Queen Mary University of London, UK, specializing in the history of political thought. He co-founded the Cambridge School and authored "The Foundations of Modern Political Thought". Skinner received the Wolfson History Prize in 1979 and the Balzan Prize in 2006.
