Bobby Jindal is the former Governor of Louisiana and founder of America Next, a policy organization focused on advancing free-market solutions, limited government, and individual liberty. He began his career in public service as Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, where he led major reforms to improve efficiency and expand care. He later served as President of the University of Louisiana System before being appointed Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he helped shape national healthcare policy.

Jindal was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Louisiana’s First Congressional District, before serving two terms as Governor of Louisiana. During his time in office, he focused on fiscal discipline, government reform, and policies aimed at promoting economic growth. Drawing on experience at both the state and federal levels, Jindal brings a principled perspective on healthcare reform, economic policy, and expanding opportunity.
